Our commercial work is focused and practical rather than trying to be everything to everyone: • Tenant improvements — interior build-outs for a new office, retail storefront, or small business moving into existing commercial space • Interior renovations for existing businesses — updating an outdated office, waiting room, retail floor, or back-of-house space without a full ground-up rebuild • Small-scale additions and expansions — adding square footage to an existing commercial building for storage, additional office space, or expanded customer-facing area • Exterior and entryway improvements — facade updates, entryway remodels, and exterior work that improve how a small business presents itself to customers

Commercial projects follow the same core discipline as our residential work, adjusted for the realities of a working business: consultation and scope definition, design and permitting, construction scheduled around your operating hours wherever possible, and a final walkthrough before we call the job done. Permitting for commercial space is reviewed against occupancy classification, fire code, and ADA accessibility requirements in addition to standard building code — a meaningfully different process than a residential remodel — and we manage that permitting through the relevant building department for the property's specific jurisdiction.

The single biggest difference between commercial and residential work is that your business often can't close for the duration of the project. We build a schedule around your operating hours from the start — that can mean early-morning starts, after-hours work, weekend phases, or sectioning off part of the space so you can keep operating in the rest of it while we work. We'll tell you honestly during the estimate what level of disruption to expect and when, rather than leaving you to find out mid-project.
