Because our projects span multiple jurisdictions across the Tri-Cities TN/VA region, permitting requirements vary by where your home is located — a city building department, a county building department, or in Bristol's case, potentially a different state's licensing system entirely. Each city page below covers the specific permitting authority for that area. In Tennessee, any project valued at $25,000 or more (combined labor and materials) legally requires a licensed general contractor under T.C.A. § 62-6-103; Millwood holds TBLC Contractor License #85412 and manages all required permits and inspections on every project, regardless of size.
